Hot Spring Heater Replacement & Parts
Hot Springs replacement heaters for all 1995-2007 models.
In 1995 Watkins introduced the first No-Fault heater. The name "No-Fault" meant that there was no longer any mention of negligent water chemistry voiding the warranty. In 1997 the second version of the " No Fault" heater was introduced and remained in production until late 2003. The third version of the "No-Fault" was utilized in the Tiger River spa line with some Hot Spring dealers using it as a replacement heater in both Hot Spring and Tiger River spas. The fourth version of the "No-Fault" was introduced in 2004 and has proven to be the most solid design we've seen to date. The PDR Titanium heater style is used in all Hot Spring and Tiger River spas rolling off the assembly line today.
Note: All the discontinued heaters are replaced by the new PDR Titanium heater shown below.
What's Included: No-Fault PDR Titanium Heater, 2' of 1/4" vinyl tubing, 1/4" clamps & thermistor o-rings
Description: This 2008 No-Fault PDR Titanium Heater is the newest factory upgrade replacement heater from the makers of Hot Springs spas. Its double-pass sleek design replaces all previously discontinued heater styles. The double-pass feature efficiently heats the water in two stages and oh what a perfect job it does! Now factory approved and warranted for all 115 volt 1.5kW and 230 volt 6kW installations for all 1995-2008 Hot Spring and Tiger River spa models. Your existing 3/4" vinyl tubing will attach to this heater with no worries. The two thermistors on your existing heater simply unscrew. The thermistors have different thread sizes to insure they can't accidentally be reversed when re-installing them into this new PDR heater.
This replacement heater doesn't have a plug on the end of the power cord. In most applications, the heater is wired directly inside the spas control box. If your existing heater plugs in to the bottom of your control box, you may need the appropriate adapter. Adapters are listed next to your spa model on the chart below.
Tip: You can also utilize the cord end (plug) from your old heater and splice it onto the new PDR if needed.
